daVinci cosmetic brushes are hand-made to perfection by our skilled craftsmen. The natural hairs are not cut to avoid any damages to the valuable hair tips and to enable easy and perfect application.

daVinci PROFESSIONAL offers a wide variety of high quality and long-lasting brushes that have been developed especially for the professional. The main characteristics of this very successful assortment remain the superb hair quality for each corresponding technique and the well balanced esagonal handles. All brushes are provided with silver ferrules. The brush heads are "crimped" and fixed to the handles for extra strength which ensures continual food looks an durability even after intensive use and brush care.

The PROFESSIONAL brush sets are available in large and medium and as a handbag version with short handles. All cases are made of Nappa leather and lined with black artificial leather for ease of cleaning.

The DaVinci cosmetic brush centre is pivoted and gives you the possibility to present in a very small space a competent assortment clearly arranged and hygienically cared for. The display has removable, transparent outer screens and in the centre there are the brushes already packaged ready for sale.

Thanks to the busy hands of skilled brush-makers and apprentices, guided by their departmental supervisors, more than 10.000 artist brushes of high quality are made in our factory each day. Visitors often express their surprise at the calm atmosphere which is not usually found in a “factory”.

They compare it to laboratories and studios - as the silence of concentration prevails, interrupted only by occasional conversation.
Now and again rhythmic knocking noises are to be heard. The brass cases filled with hair bundles and the marble working tables have always encouraged brush-makers to beat time somewhere between Dixieland and marching music.



Our production rooms for synthetic brushes newly established in our branch in the Tillystraße, where we moved in at the end of 1998, give a totally different impression. Here the vibro machines are ringing, the parting machines are humming, portioning exactly up to 1/10 gr. and manufacturing approximately one thousand brushes per hour. We work with special machines and equipment in electronically guided processes which have been built in our own workshop after a trial period lasting many years.
